Shmetsy tools

The Shmetsy's tools package currently offers 3 tools:

 
Please read the updated user guides for the Shmetsy Sketchy, the Treasury Maker and the Convos Sender before using the tools.
We've made some changes!
 
Installation instructions:
  • For Firefox (4.0 or newer): --- This is an updated version from Oct. 23 ---
    • If you have installed one of our tools before (e.g. sendtreasuryconvos, shmetsytreasurymaker , shmetsystreasurydraft), you'll need to uninstall it before installing the new version.
      You can find instructions for uninstalling here.
    • Click here to install the Firefox extension.
    • If you have trouble installing the extension, you can look at the installation guide
  • For Google Chrome: --- This is an updated version from May 18 ---
    • If you have installed one of our tools before (e.g. "Send treasury convos", "shmetsy's treasury maker" , "Shmetsy's Sketchy"), you'll need to uninstall it before installing the new version.
      You can find instructions for uninstalling here.
    • Click here to install the Google Chrome extension.
    • If you have trouble installing the extension, you can look at the installation guide
  • For Safari (version 5.1 , on MAC or PC ): --- This is an updated version from Oct. 23 ---

Shmetsy Sketchy

The Shmetsy Sketchy tool allows you to keep a working draft of a treasury, so that you can finish it up later.
All you have to do is click the "Save Draft" button, and your treasury draft will be saved. It's as simple as that!

Shmetsy Sketchy

Making Treasuries is now as easy as 1-2-3!

The "Treasury Maker" tool helps creating treasuries more easily and quickly then usual.
This tool recognizes that you’re creating or editing a treasury, and adds a clear smiley to each listing, next to its price.
Clicking on the clear smiley will add that item to your treasury. The smiley will be filled to indicate which items have already been added to the current Treasury.

Treasury Maker

 
Send Convos to artists in a Treasury

This tool allows you to send a convo to all the artists featured in a Treasury you created with one click. Quite often, after you make a treasury, you want to notify the featured artists that you've added them to a Treasury so that they can promote it among their friends. With this tool, you can do exactly this -- directly from the Treasury creation page.

Note: Sending too many convos too quickly may cause Etsy to suspend your convo-sending ability, so please use this tool wisely. We strongly suggest waiting about 15 minutes between sending messages to artists in a treasury. It usually takes this long to create a treasury anyway.
In any case, we strongly condemn the usage of this tool to send unsolicitated messages to users (SPAM)!
